The Rods of the Five Wizards

In answer to Captin Kazam, there were originally five Wizards sent in the Second age to Middle-earth. The first three most well known to us are Gandalf, Sauruman, and Radagast. What about the other two? well the other two were the blue Wizards. The blue Wizards were not created by Toliken until later to fill in the gap, but still even with new information he never actually stated what happened to them.

There are several possibilities. First they could have gone farther into Middle-earth, to places such as Harad, Rhun, and south Gondor. Another possibility is that Sauruman led them to the East and killed them (we all knew it)! They also might have gone back over the sea. Personally I think the first is more likely.

Thank you Captain Kazam for your "question." Anybody is free to email me and don't be shy, you will be answered.

Many Thanks,

  2. The name of all 5 wizards are Curumo (Saruman), Olórin (Gandalf), Aiwendil (Radagast), Alatar (Morinehtar), Pallando (Rómestámo) where the name in patantese is what they where known as in middle earth. The last two names are the blue wizards who's fate or success was never revealed by tolkien. If they had died they would have returned to the undying land as they are all imortal. That is how Gandalf returned, as his mortal body died and he was sent back again since his work was unfinished.
